Welcome to the Braywood Cricket Club Website Braywood Cricket Club was established in 1920 and is located in the small village of Fifield in Berkshire. Braywood play 1st XI and 2nd XI cricket matches on Saturdays with both teams competing in the Morrant Chilterns Cricket League. 2010 will see the 1st XI attempting to improve on last seasons third place finish and win the 1st XI First Division title. The 2nd XI will be looking to bounce back from last seasons relegation and gain promotion back to the 2nd XI First Division. On Sundays the atmopshere is a little more relaxed with Braywood playing a host of friendly fixtures and also competing in the National Village Cricket Cup competiton. The East Berkshire Evening T20 league was founded in 2007. The club enters a team in this competition under the badge of the Braywood Knights in appreciation of a lifetime of service to the club by our past Chairman and Club Captain, Cyril Knight. Braywood Juniors was founded in 2009 and provides coaching on Sunday mornings for juniors aged 8 years and above. 2010 is the 90th Anniversary of the club and as such we are arranging several events to celebrate this whilst raising some money for charity. Further information on what is planned and how you can get involved will be published soon so stay tuned to the website. Braywood is a friendly and fun club that is always looking to welcome new members. Whether you are a competent cricketer, eager to learn the game, or just looking to enjoy cricket socially then Braywood is the place to be.
