Welcome to Braywood Cricket Club

Braywood Cricket Club was established in 1920. The Turnbull Cricket Ground in the village of Fifield in Berkshire is our home.

Braywood plays 1st XI and 2nd XI cricket on Saturdays with teams competing in the Morrant Chilterns Cricket League. 2012 will see the 1st XI attempting to improve on last season's fourth place and win the First Division title. The 2nd XI will be looking to go one better than last season's third place finish and win promotion from Division Four.

On Sundays the atmosphere is a little more relaxed with Braywood playing a host of friendly fixtures and competing in the National Village Cup.

The success of our tour to the Isle of Wight last season has prompted us to plan a repeat for 2012. This is a great opportunity for cricketing fun away from it all for a few days at the end of June.

The East Berkshire Evening T20 league was founded in 2007. We enter a team under the badge of the Braywood Knights in appreciation of a lifetime of service to the club by our past Chairman and Club Captain, Cyril Knight.

Braywood Juniors are now well established and provide coaching on Sunday mornings for juniors aged 6 years and above. Our Under 13s will play regular competitive cricket for the first time with their entry into the Berkshire Youth Cricket League for 2012. More information about junior cricket is available here.

Braywood is a friendly and fun club that is always looking to welcome new members. Whether you are a competent cricketer, eager to learn the game, or just looking to enjoy cricket socially then Braywood is the place to be. Membership information is available here.
